The Hextol Foundation

We are a charity and social enterprise which positively supports people with learning disabilities and mental health needs by providing working opportunities through volunteering in one of our business areas. Our beneficiaries may work with us for shorter periods of time, building up employability skills and work experience;or they may be in a longer placement benefitting from a nurturing, structured working environment. We want our volunteers to gain new skills and build their confidence as well as reduce social isolation, volunteers are welcome to join us for a hot lunch.

Gardening Project -starting August 2026 This will be an informal gardening session led by our experienced garden supervisors and individuals are very welcome to come along and have a go in a relaxed environment. Rather than gardening for customers ,this session will have much more focus on gardening for ourselves.

Cycling Minds is now part of Hextol and offers guided e-bike rides, enabling the participants to improve their physical and mental health through outdoor activity in a group setting. The two criteria for participating are being 18 or over and being able to ride a bike

.Volunteers are welcome to join us for a hot lunch if they wish.
