Walking Group @ The Alnwick Garden
Walking helps maintain a healthy weight, improve cardiovascular fitness, strengthen bones and muscles, and improves muscular endurance. It can also help prevent or manage various conditions, including heart disease, stroke, high blood pressure, cancer and Type-2 diabetes. Combine this with a social chat with friends old and new, and it makes for a great morning.
We welcome donations for refreshments.

How are services delivered?
This session is suitable for over 55s with mixed walking abilities and runs regardless of the weather, so please dress appropriately.
Beneficiaries are taken on an approx. hour-long stroll around The Alnwick Garden, guided by staff and volunteers. Following the walk, beneficaries are then welcome to socialise with refreshments provided.
