Higher Ground Allendale

Higher Ground are a social enterprise that focus on improving mental health and wellbeing through gardening and outdoor activity. Our volunteer gardeners help to grow and maintain the vegetable garden and the surrounding site to create a beautiful space for the whole community to enjoy. We also run weekly coffee and music drop-in sessions, host craft workshops and seasonal events.

Our services include:

We have two volunteers on at any one time and are always looking for more help. We would be happy to allow people to charge their phones . All free but donations welcomed

Garden open for volunteers and referrals - Friday 9am-12pm/1pm-4pm
