Despite its quiet rural atmosphere, Matfen village is a well-connected vibrant community. The Village Hall is right in the centre of the village and shares the same building as Matfen Village Store and Coffee Shop. Weekly exercises classes take place for all abilities and age groups promoting health and wellbeing in the commmunity. These include Yoga, Pilates and Karate -see website for days/ costs. The Hall can be opened as a warm space to work/study, charge phones and use the Wi-Fi - ring to check its open.

All classes are run independently in the hall and will incur a cost.

The hall is also available for hire.The facilities include a well equipped kitchen, HD projector, large retractable screen, DVD player, audio surround sound system, hearing induction loop, mobile broadband, baby changing table, access ramp, comfortable chairs and tables.
