Findaway is a project that recognises that you – the families, friends, and community members – are usually the first to know, and best placed to support, if someone you know is affected by domestic abuse. We want to equip you with the knowledge and skills you need to support them effectively. Findaway is open to anyone aged 16 and over and living in Tyne & Wear or Northumberland. Our trained advocates can provide you with the knowledge and skills you need to effectively support the person you’re worried about.

For 40 years WWIN have supported communities through our specialist domestic abuse services. Now – through Findaway - we hope to reach those impacted earlier, before the abuse escalates, by supporting those around them.
