Lunch Club Hexham Community Centre

The Wednesday Lunch Club at Hexham Community Centre has been running for over 20 years. We welcome between 15 and 25 diners each week for a two-course home cooked meal. For many diners it is their only trip out and only hot meal of the week. We can also provide an accessible bus pick up and drop off for those living in Hexham and a Meals on Wheels service for those unable to make it to the Centre.

Lunch Club is subsidised by funding from various funders, however we do ask for £3 from those who can afford it to contribute towards the meal costs and a £2 contribution from those using the bus.

Lunch Club is best suited to the over 70s but everyone is welcome. We have a number of vulnerable adults, adults with learning disabilies and adults living in poverty who join us occasionally

Lunch Club is a sit down meal at the Community Centre. Meals on Wheels will be delivered by a volunteer driver who will stop for a little chat and check in with those recieving the meal
