Hexham Community Centre - Warm Welcome Activities
The Warm Welcome at Hexham Community Centre is a range of activities during the week for adults living in social isolation and/or at risk of poverty. All activities take place at Hexham Community Centre. We run a tea time session on Tuesday, Lunch Club on Wednesday, Bowls on Friday afternoon and a Sunday lunch. We ask for a suggested donation from those who can, but if someone cannot pay they do not need to.

- Tuesday Tea (Tuesdays 3.45 - 5pm). An intergenerational afternoon tea with Hexham Youthy, with board games and conversation. £2.50 suggested donation
- Lunch Club (Wednesdays 11.30 - 1.30 - lunch served at 12pm) a home cooked two-course meal, with good company. We can arrange and subsidise taxi transport for those otherwise unable to get to the Centre. £3.50 suggested donation, £2.50 for taxi
- Carpet Bowls (Fridays, 1 - 3pm). A social game of bowls with soup and a roll, all ages, abilities and spectators welcome. £2.50 suggested donation.
- Sunday Lunch (Sunday 11.30 - 1.30pm - lunch served at 12pm) home cooked Sunday Lunch and dessert with good company. £3.50 suggested donation.

Who can use this service?
How are services delivered?
Most of our members are over 70, however everyone is welcome. We also welcome vulnerable adults such as those living with mental and physical health issues, and those living in poverty.
We ask for a suggested donation from those who can, but if someone cannot pay they do not need to.
