Northumberland Recovery College: Autism Support Groups

We provide safe and inclusive online and face to face support groups for neurodiverse people to meet others. Our All About: Autism is a parent-led support group for families with children, young people or adults who are living with Autism or awaiting diagnosis. Join us for advice on early help, navigating the school system, understanding a diagnosis, managing behaviours, tips on communication, the impact on siblings, benefit entitlement, and many other day-to-day challenges. Our Autism Peer Support Group is a friendly peer-led support group to meet with others.

Autism Peer Support Group - Every Tuesday and Thursday 6pm-7.30pm

Autism / ADHD Peer Support Group - West every Wednesday 6.30 - 8.30 pm The Torch Centre Hexham

Autism / ADHD Peer Support Group - North every Thursday 11.00 am - 12.30 pm Costello Centre Alnwick 

No formal diagnosis is required for any of these sessions.

Who can use this service?

How are services delivered?

Anyone aged 18+ who lives or works in Northumberland.

This service is delivered online via Zoom. 

The West and North Groups are held face to face.
